Do you like the idea of a yummy, scrummy smoothie, despite it being in winter?

This smoothie is made out of the Top Three best winter fruits, Orange, Pomegranate and Apple.

So let’s get started…

Ingredients:

  • Sugar (if not sugary enough)
  • Orange
  • Pomegranate
  • Apple

Materials

  • Blender
  • Chopping board
  • Knife
  • Peeler
  • Bowl
  • Strainer

Method:

  1. Chop the apple into quarters and use the peeler to peel the skin off.
  2. Apply the same technique to the orange.
  3. Soak your pomegranate in cold water for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the pomegranate on the chopping board and cut it in half.
  5. Put the two halves of the pomegranate back in the bowl of water.
  6. Scoop the seeds out with a tablespoon.
  7. Transfer the seeds into a strainer and drain the water.
  8. Place the pomegranate seeds, peeled orange and apple in the blender
  9. REMEMBER TO PUT THE LID ON THE BLENDER
  10. When it has blended the fruit taste the smoothie and if not sweet enough add a teaspoon of fine sugar.
