Angel sharks are a critically endangered species but two angel sharks, twins named Barry and Dave, had a cunning plan. They decided that they only way to ensure their survival was to find a place at the local aquarium where they would be safe.

Once morning, as they set off, for their own safety they decided to stay as hidden as much as possible to avoid predators. However, when you’re a large, flat-bodied shark who can grow up to 2.4 metres long, hiding is not very easy.

Everything time that they broke out of a hiding place they heard a shout of “there’s another one, write it down”. The constant shouts were really starting to get on Dave and Barry’s nerves, so much so that they were considering whether to rise to the surface to give the famous angel shark “death stare”.

Just as they started to rise to the surface they heard a small voice say “it’s nice to track the angel sharks so we can look after where they live”. After hearing these words the anger flooded out of Dave and Barry.

“Dave”, said Barry, “if these annoying people are spotting us to look after our homes, what’s the point in travelling all the way to the aquarium”.

“That’s a good point Barry”, said Dave, “and I’m not sure that I want people staring at me all day, I like my privacy”.

“At least, it’s easier to hide down here, more space”, said Barry.

“Let’s go home”, said Dave, and the two angel sharks set off for home. Deciding it was safer to remain with the annoying people watching them in the sea, than to deal with the irritating people watching them in the aquarium.
