Hi! Time for proper Frankie cuteness. I will give you some brief info about his family:
Mom: Her name is Maggie, she is a Blenheim cavalier
Dad: His name is Alfie, he is black & tan, like my beloved Frankie
Only sister: Her name is Beatrice, the only other black & tan in the litter
Brothers: Henry and Theodore
He also had 2 rescue uncles, a cavalier named Ernie from a puppy farm
And a greyhound, named Brian.
Also, shocking fact, you won’t believe it, he lived with a pygmy goat as a little one. Cool, right?
Also, I need to talk about some serious stuff, like what food to feed puppies and dogs, training and more:
THESE ARE 6 OF THE WORST DOG FOODS FOR YOUR DOG/PUPPY:
- Purina, Alpo, it was founded nearly 80 years ago, so it should be good right, older and wiser? Incorrect! They use artificial flavours and colours to make it “good”.
- Grreat choice, it is a brand of dog food created by PetSmart, it isn’t good for dogs, but many people buy because it is CHEAP , don’t go by the, cheaper is better rule when buying dog food.
- Purina, Dog Chow, Purina is a large company, and with dog foods larger companies tend to have worse dog foods, just because it is cheaper.
- Beneful, was released in 2001, their food come in a variety of (artificial) colours, shapes and textures
- Pedigree, is a brand of dog food, produced by Mars PetCare, they do over six brands, they go by the “cheaper is better” rule.
- Royal Canin, was founded in 1968 is one of the largest pet food brands in the country! They use low-quality carbs, horrific!

The one Frankie really likes, and is good for them is called Barking Heads, they are super nice 75% salmon and chicken (but of course there are other types). I think a reason he likes them are the fact they look like miniature donuts! J
TRAINING TIME!
Many dogs seem to hate training, but it’s important to their future (which will always be absolutely CUTE!). here are some things to get you started:
(each blog will have a training tip) J
- SIT
Training your dog sit is quite important, but for some dogs it’s quite difficult, but don’t get angry if they get it wrong remember, they are young, sweet puppies who don’t know much. Frankie learned how to sit in only a few minutes! And that is good for a dog.
How to sit train your dog/pup!
- The easiest way to sit train a puppy is to get his/her favourite treat (anything will do)
- Next, show your dog you have a treat in your hand
- With the treat in your hand raise your hand higher
- He/she will watch your hand
- As you raise it hand above your sweet puppy’s head he will look at your treat
- It may take a while, but the best thing in an owner is being patient
- His/her bottom will go down, HE/SHE IS SITTING, CONGRATULATIONS
I hope this blog helped you out with your puppy, I know it is hard because you want to give them the best life you possibly can.
ALWAYS REMEMBER: DOGS ARE FOREVER!

super cute
love frankie
I love him to, do you have a dog?
I’m so happy to see another post inspired by Frankie; he’s building up quite the following! And to find out he lived with a pygmy goat when he was little is beyond cool – he’s been living my dream! 🐶🐐
You are really starting to show off your different areas of dog expertise through your blogging and are developing a confident writer’s voice. I particularly enjoyed reading your honest dog food reviews, which certainly persuaded me to check on the linked website to investigate some alternative brands. Well done. 🤩
Remember that you can upload further posts and comment on others’ writing, if you wish, during the school holiday.
Keep writing!
